In 2025, we come together for the 10th anniversary edition of the DtB Sustainability Summit. It’s a special milestone for us—not only because we celebrate a decade of the Summit, but also because we are opening a new chapter.

Over the years, our stage has brought forward inspiring projects and organizations that showed change is possible. From the start, our aim has been to help participants translate those experiences into their own reality. We’ve always made it a priority to listen to our community and create value and opportunities so that everyone could benefit from the Summit in their own way.

At the same time, we observe how the world around us is changing – and we hear it echoed within our community. The 10th edition is a moment to pause and reflect on those who have been on the frontlines of change for years. Burnout, overload, and growing complexity reminds us that even the most committed changemakers need support today.

“Sustainability” is a word most often linked with ecology, the environment, and climate neutrality. This year, we invite you to look at it more broadly – as something that also includes people, their capabilities, organizations, and the systems they shape.

That is why in this edition we turn our attention to you – our participants, the agents of change – and ask: how can we not only spark transformation, but also carry it forward and sustain it? “Sustain the ability” is a call to strengthen the skills and capacities that allow us not just to begin change, but to uphold and grow it – in alignment with ourselves, in the language of business, and in the rhythm of our organizations.

This year’s program will focus on several key areas: from futures literacy, to bridging the language of innovation with the language of business, to strengthening the inner resilience of change leaders. We also want to explore how transformation can become long-term and sustainable, especially when it comes to the human challenges that arise along the way.
